Our Adoption Process
We want every adoption to be a true love connection — for you and for the animal. Our process is thorough because we care deeply about getting it right, and we want to set every family and every animal up for lasting success. Here's what to expect when you apply to adopt from Angel's.
1. Submit Application
Fill out our adoption application with details about your home, family, lifestyle, and experience with animals. You'll be asked to include photos of your environment (inside and out), your fence line or property, and any past or present pets with the family. The more we know about you, the better we can help find your perfect match.
2. Application Review
Our team reviews every application carefully, in the order they're received. Multiple families may apply for the same animal, and we do our best to match each dog with the home that's the best fit for their unique personality and needs. We'll be in touch once we've had a chance to review yours.
3. Meet and Connect
Once your application has been approved, we'll arrange a time for you to meet your potential new family member. This is a chance for everyone — humans and animals — to make sure it feels right. We want you to feel confident and excited about bringing your new companion home.
4. Welcome Home
When the match is right, it's time to make it official! We'll walk you through everything you need to know about your new family member — their history, their quirks, their favorites — and support you through the transition as your Angel's alumni settles into their new life with you.
